World's Best Cabbage Rolls

1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/2 lb bacon fried and crumbled
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 C uncooked rice, cooked and cooled
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp Hungarian paprika
1 tbsp smoky paprika
Mix above in a large bowl
You will also need:
Hungarian sausage
1 large onion
2 large green peppers
Large can or jar of sauerkraut
V8 or tomato juice ( 1.89 litres)
Cut large onion and green peppers into rings, then place in large shallow casserole dish and top with enough soya sauce to cover.
Either freeze or boil cabbage. Roll stuffing ingredients into cabbage leaves.
Take a large roasting pan and layer sauerkraut, onion and pepper rings, cabbage rolls, and sprinkle with chopped Hungarian sausage, repeat layers and pour either tomato juice or V8 juice over top.
Bake at 325 for 2 -3 hours.
May be served with sour cream.
