Breakfast Casserole
- 6 eggs
- 1 pound hot sausage
- 6 slices stale bread, cubed
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
Grease casserole. Crumble and brown sausage; drain well. Alternate layers of bread, sausage and cheese in the casserole. Beat egg; add milk and seasonings. Pour over the layer. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Bake at 350 deg. F. for apporximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until the eggs set.

Christmas Breakfast Casserole
- 16 slices crustless bread
- sliced shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/4 pound butter
- sliced back bacon or ham
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 dash tabasco sauce
- crushed special K or corn flakes
Butter a 9x14 inch glass pan. Lay 8 slices of bread on bottom and fill all cracks. Cover bread with bacon or ham. Lay cheese on top. Put another 8 slices of bread on top again and fill all cracks. In bowl, beat eggs, salt, pepper, add mustard, onions, green peppers, worcestershire sauce, milk and tabasco sauce. Pour over bread. Let stand overnight in fridge. In morning, melt butter and pour over top. Cover with Special K or Corn Flakes. Bake uncovered 1 hour at 350 deg. F. Let stand 10 minutes.

Breakfast Casserole Recipes
- 2 cups plain croutons
- 4 ounces shredded natural cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- dash of pepper
- 4 slices bacon
In bottom of greased 10 x 6 x 1-3/4 inch baking dish, combine plain croutons and shredded natural chees. Combine slightly beaten eggs, milk, salt, prepared mustard, onion powder and a dash of pepper. Mix until blended. Pour over crouton mixture in casserole.
Cook bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. Sprinkle over top of casserole and bake in 350 deg. F. oven for 55-60 minutes or until eggs set. Garnish with bacon curls, if desired.

Breakfast Casserole Recipes
- 6 slices bread
- 1/2 pound grated cheese
- 1 pound sausage
- 6 eggs
Remove crusts from bread. Butter one side and put in an oblong pan (buttered side down) Put grated cheese on top. Crumble uncooked suasage on top of cheese. Beat eggs and pour over mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Remove foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
