Just a note to let you know I live in Lampasas, Texas, a town of approx. 6000 with a tremendous poverty rate. Our chruch cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the community and had a bunch of carcassas left. We froze them to make soup to hand out on New Years day. Problem........no recipe. I found yours tonight and just wanted you to know you've helped make lots of families happy (or you will on Thursday). Thanks for the recipe. God Bless You.

Hi from Scotland, the home of shortbread. I made the whipped cookies for my daughter who loves shortbread and is on her way here from Canada to pick up her wedding dress. Coming from Canada and living here, I have made a LOT of shortbread but this is absolutely the best recipe I have ever tasted. I highly recommend it but have 2 pointers...It makes a LOT of cookies and because she loves cinnamon and sugar on hers, I dipped half of the recipe in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and then baked it..Divine!!!
