Oven Baked Chicken Recipes

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 - 8 chicken pieces

Preheat oven to 400 deg. F. Place butter in 13x9 baking pan and allow to melt in oven. Combine flour and all of the seasonings in a paper bag. Add chicken parts, one at a time and shake bag to coat them evenly. Dip both sides of chicken in the melted butter and place in a single layer with the skin side down in the pan. Bake for 30 minutes and then turn over so skin side is up. Bake for another 25 minutes or until tender.

Baked Chicken Casserole

1 frying chicken
1 tin mushroom soup
1 soup tin of water
1 pkg. of dry onion soup mix
1 cup long grain rice
1 tin cream of chicken soup

In a 9x13 inch pan, sprinkle rice, add soups and water. Place chicken on top of rice. Sprinkle onion soup mixture over chicken. Cover and bake at 350 deg. f. for 2 hours.

Baked Chicken Supreme

2 cup minute rice
4 chicken breasts, cooked and cut up
1 small jar chopped pimientos
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 small can sliced ripe olives
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup

Combine above ingredients; put into greased 2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 deg. F. for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

This baked chicken recipe will serve 8.

Baked Chicken Wings

16 chicken wings
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

Wash chicken and pat dry. Saute chicken in melted butter until lighty browned. Place in greased baking dish. Add tomatoes with liquid and celery.

In a separate bowl mix together soy sauce, vinegar and salt. Pour over chicken and bake at 375 deg. F. for about 30 minutes or until tender.

This baked chicken recipe will serve 4.

Terriyaki Baked Chicken Recipes

2 tablespoons butter
2 pounds chicken pieces
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Melt butter and pour into shallow casserole dish. Stir in mustard to form a thick paste. Dry chicken pieces and roll in mustard butter to coat all sides. Bake skin side down at 375 deg. F. for 15 minutes. Mix together honey, soya sauce, ginger, and garlic powder. Drain fat from casserole and brush sauce over chicken. Continue baking an additional 20 - 30 minutes, basting occasionally, until chicken is tender and glazed. Serve with stir fried vegetables and steamed rice.

This baked chicken recipe will serve 4 - 6.
