2-3lbs. round steak tenderized
Cut meat into slices about 6ins. long and 3ins. wide or what ever you find is easy to roll up. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. Brown as many pieces of bacon as you need to roll into each piece of meat. I cook the rest and someone is always there to start stealing the cooked bacon! Reserve some of the grease to brown meat in after rolling up. Take browned bacon and place on meat piece. Take one piece of onion and place that on one end of meat. Start rolling until it is completely rolled up and put toothpicks into it to keep from opening. Roll into flour and brown meat in bacon grease. When all pieces are browned, add some hot water just to 1/4-1/2 covering meat. With slotted spoon scrape off the bottom of pan to get the scrapings. Bring to slight boil and turn down to simmer. Cover and simmer for at least 45min. I usually cook for at least an hour and a half. It gets real moist and falls apart with a fork the longer you let it cook. We have more beef recipes here. 2 Egg,beaten
Slice mozzarella block into slices 1 ½ cm wide. Then cut each slice into sticks (1 cm wide). Put beaten eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix breadcrumbs with oregano in a bowl. Mix flour and cornflour in another bowl. Dip each mozzarella stick into eggs, then breadcrumbs mixture, then flour mixture. Make sure that each stick is totally covered by breadcrumbs and flour. Set aside or refrigerate. In a deep frying pan, heat oil over high heat until very hot. Insert mozzarella sticks placing them apart from each other so that they don’t stick together. Deep-fry until golden (about 30 seconds). Remove from oil and drain on kitchen paper. Serve immediately with tomato dip. Note: It is more preferred to use an electric fryer. It is easier, faster, and doesn't make mozzarella sticks absorb oil. More cheese ball recipes here. 1.5 lbs. ground sirloin
Brown ground beef. Drain oil. Put back in skillet with can of tomato paste and spaghetti sauce mix. Add about 1/2 cup of water. I add a little at a time to just mix all together, you don't want it watery. Line pie pan with cresent rolls. You can pull the triangle shapes apart and press into the pan and make sure all the pan is covered, sides and bottom. Fill pie pan with ground beef mixture. Top with grated cheese. (I use taco flavored cheddar, you can you ANY kind you like) Bake in 350* oven for about 35-40 mins. EASY and delicious!!! With a salad you have a great dinner! My kids LOVE IT! =) We have lots more dinner recipes here.
