------------------------------ Sunday, Feb 20, 2005Chloe Yates sent us this recipe for Texas Sheet Cake.Now this recipe has a couple of items that are unclear to us. One is the amount of butter used, she mentions sticks rather than an amount. And a pound of powdered sugar? seems like a lot of sugar. I am assuming this would be icing or confectioners sugar. We've sent an email to Cloe asking for clarification. If we get it, we'll make corrections if any. If we don't hear from her we may just remove this recipe. After the cake has been in for 10 minutes, In the same sauce pan, put in 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup buttermilk, and 1/4 cup coaco. Then remove from heat, add in 1 teas. vanilla, and 1 lbs. powdered sugar. Add to hot cake. Enoy!! If you want it a little more spicy just throw on some red pepper....sooooo goooood! Throw it in the toaster oven for about 6 mins until cheese is kind of melted and the bread a little toasted and you have a delicious oven baked hoagie from heaven!
